Ukan

Ukan is  Jana's little brother. He is also a very important part of our team. 

He normally gets himself into a bit of trouble, in the past he has had his fair share of lives, we think he should have been born a cat not a dog.  When he was a puppy he jumped out the window of our trailer as we were travelling at 100km/h along the New England Highway, it wasn't until we arrived home that we realised he was missing. Of course we were all very upset imagining horrible endings. To our relief he had been seen by a passing motorist hours later sitting on the side of the Highway waiting to be picked up. The next morning we got the phone call from his rescuer and to our great relief he was ok. He has also ate himself into the record books when he gobbled down a whole packet of 'Irrequel' worming pellets, the packet contained 200 times the amount of wormer for a dog! There was nothing we could do to help him, that amount of wormer had never been given to a dog before so it was assumed he would not survive, but if he did, the vet  told us he would take months to recover.  This tough little dog bounced back in a week and acting just the same as usual.  Suffice to say he has not had a worm ever since!

Now he is a lot smarter and has become a great helping hand for Steve.
